Concierge Medical Education

The Problem

Health information is more available than ever, but self-studying remains a daunting challenge. This has widened health literacy gaps as resource rich populations are more readily able to employ trained experts to sort through misinformation. Those with the desire to learn, such as students, athletes, caretakers, and working families, often lack the time, mentorship, or resources to receive high-quality, judgment-free medical education.

At the Dr. Jarvis Foundation, our Concierge Medical Education service provides personalized, accessible, and culturally responsive medical learning opportunities for individuals, families, schools, athletic programs, and community organizations. We bridge the gap between complex medical information and real-world understanding by offering one-on-one tutoring, curated educational resources, and evidence-based health studies coaching tailored to the unique needs of each community we serve.

How The Service Works

Personalized Educational Sessions: Clients receive customized medical education support—ranging from understanding diagnosis terminology and treatment options to navigating the healthcare system, interpreting research, or preparing for medical careers.

Accessible Expertise: Through virtual or in-person sessions, we provide direct access to physician-educators who simplify complex topics while preserving clinical accuracy. This helps us reduce the burden of educating in the clinical setting and encourages early learners to explore medical education before urgency escalates to emergency.

Goal-Oriented Guidance: Every engagement begins with a needs assessment, ensuring that teaching aligns with the individual’s or community’s goals—whether improving health literacy, supporting students, empowering athletes, or strengthening community resources.

A Continuity-Based Model: We provide follow-up support, ongoing education, and longitudinal mentorship to reinforce retention, confidence, and growth.

Additionally, we support our medical trainees by generating opportunities for them to work as paid professionals in their communities. This work, which falls directly in line with current training models, allows trainees to be compensated for their commitment to their communities. We are ending exploitation stemming from institutional medical education and lowering the strain on our current healthcare model. We are ushering in a new era of equitable access to affordable health care.
